Nice coin you've picked...

There were a few that have shown up from CNG. The last rediculously expensive sale toto

wasn't worth it's grains in American beer, let alone Belgian beer...

I'll keep a look out for you though. This coin I bet is going to make your wife angry at you, with today's prices in America.

It's best to have many eyes and look for a nice one from a collection that isn't up on the current market 110%.

Pour notre ami Fred, ce n'est pas un probleme ici avec ce monnaie. S'il y a des faux, ne sont pas dangereux... Ces monnaies ne sont pas tresssssssss chers.

True that CNG's sales are very expensive...and Vcoins too sometimes, but I do not kwow other way to buy some coins...(eBay is full of fakes...)

Fred have a doubt about authenticity...you do not think so if I well understand.

Anyway, this coin is too expensive for me...but so nice... geek

I am already in trouble with a Vcoins seller (Anciencoinart), who sell me a coin that I did not received...

Sorry to hear about your problem with Ancient Coin Art. I've never had the chance to work with Slavei, so I can't really comment on this much. I can tell you that unfortunately, coins do get lost in the mail sometimes, particularly if they are overseas transactions.

I think that his offer to send you another coin is fair. If I were you, I'd accept that.

As for buying venues, I don't know where you are in France, but I do know that there are many coin shows, particularly in Paris. Companies like Vinchon, CGB, Argentor and Forestier sometimes put on very nice auctions...

Further, you might look into working with companies in Europe like Gorney and Mosch, NAC, Munzen und Medallion, etc. If you'd like a good starting point, check out www.sixbid.com.

In general, I think that V-Coins surely still is the one of the best options on line today for daily shopping of coins as well. You're always welcome to ask for a second opinion on a coin with me, if you're not sure. I'd be happy to help, as I'm sure Fred and others would be as well.

Some of the guys I work with closely on V-Coins include Pars Coins, Malter Galleries, Classical Coins and Sayles and Lavender. I work of course with others also and have ever had any problems with anyone in the V-Coins Community that hasn't been resolved satisfactorly and correctly.

Hi Phil,

I don't agree, I know the coin bought by Janus and I've seen the coins the seller want to send... not the same kind of coin at all !!! The coin He want send is 40$ worth as insurance ! Not a good deal !!!

I'll never become a customer of this man ! I'm disgusted by his proposals.

Remember :

-Janus bought a 150$ beautifull coin, but it was not possible to have a good insurance.

-Janus don't have a bill which proove the coin is for him, so if we see the coin on the web, we cannot say it's his stolen coin.

-The seller said he will do a good proposal... but he only give 40 $ or a 40 $ coin... (a 80 $ coin would be normal IMHO !!!!) When yhe seller give 40 $ he don't loose anything and keep his benefit on the stolen coin, because the 40 bucks were given by the post insurance ! Not good commercial way for me !

- I've bought several dozen of coins on the states... and I never had any problems ! All the coins are arrived one day.
